The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

There was once a day (now in the long distant past) when we would visit galleries, read descriptions of paintings, and marvel at historical context as we slowly meandered through each wing of the Museum of Fine Arts.

Now we mainly hang out in the lobby, frantically chasing after a one year old who laughs deviously at our exhaustible energy levels.

Those leisurely pursuits will return in time I’m sure. In the meantime the little one will develop an appreciation of the finer things in life. I love that picture with her arms held out the left foot high. She clearly has places to go and will not be stopped!
